JOB OPPORTUNITIES
National Outreach and Development Manager
Start Date: September 2010
Locations: San Francisco, CA
Description: Peer Health Exchange (PHE) is a national non-profit organization whose mission is to give teenagers the knowledge and skills they need to make healthy decisions. We do this by training college students to teach a comprehensive health curriculum in public high schools that lack health education. Since our founding in 2003, we have trained 2,500 college student volunteers to deliver effective health education to over 25,000 public high school students in New York City, Boston, Chicago, the San Francisco Bay Area, and Los Angeles. In the 2010-2011 year, we will write our next strategic plan, building off of our success to date and charting the course to increase our impact dramatically in the years ahead.
The primary responsibilities of the PHE National Outreach and Development Manager are to assist in the creation of PHE's outreach and development strategy, build the systems to implement that strategy, and coordinate all outreach and development efforts across PHE sites—at National, in existing City Sites, for new City Sites, and for growth capital.
