In 2008, Peer Health Exchange Bay Area was established to empower young people in the San Francisco/Bay Area. That same year, PHE would move its headquarters to the Bay. Since its establishment, more than 900 volunteers have been trained to empower over 11,000 high school students.
Today, PHE Bay Area partners with schools and school in Hayward, San Leandro, Oakland, Emeryville, and San Francisco.
