At Peer Health Exchange, our mission is to build healthier communities with young people, and so we can’t do our work without you! Please check out opportunities HERE (new application link is in development) to join our team, and apply for those that best match your interests and availability. All opportunities are available to all young people ages 13-18 and offer financial incentives. We particularly encourage those who identify as BIPOC, Latinx, and/or LGBTQ+ to apply.

youth engagement

Opportunities are available to young people ages 13-18 and come with financial incentives. We particularly encourage those who identify as BIPOC, Latinx, and/or LGBTQ+ to apply.

We also offer opportunities for near peers, aged 18-24, to support our work. These also come with financial incentives. We particularly encourage those who identify as BIPOC, Latinx, and/or LGBTQ+ to apply here as well.

At Peer Health Exchange, we celebrate difference and are committed to providing equitable opportunities, addressing the effects of power and privilege. PHE is proud to be an equal employment opportunity workplace. We take our work seriously. We have fun. We believe in the possibility to change lives - all in service of better health outcomes and a more equitable world for young people.

selfsea powered by peerhealthx

selfsea, powered by Peer Health Exchange and co-designed with young people, provides safe, inclusive, evidence-based, and identity-affirming health resources and information for youth everywhere. selfsea is a place where young people can see themselves reflected through supportive and inclusive stories that prioritize their identities and experiences about mental health, sexual health, and beyond.

additional youth engagement opportunities

We believe that an important part of our role in promoting health equity is amplifying youth voices and their leadership and using our institutional influence to ensure more adults are actively listening to young people. In keeping with this commitment, there are many ways for young people to partner with us!

All opportunities are paid and you will be partnered with a PHE staff member for any support needs. Contact us to learn about specific volunteer opportunities. For more information, please email Emily Gasner Medress, Head of Development.
