Peer Health Exchange launched programming in Michigan to build skills in decision-making for health, communication and advocacy and accessing resources for young people. During the 2019-2020 academic year we launched programming in Detroit, Michigan with support from Detroit Public Schools Community District and Wayne State University. At Wayne State University Peer Health Exchanged is partnering with the Honors College to oversee and manage local partnerships. In our second year of partnering with Wayne State, we expanded our partnership to include the Latino/a and Latin American Studies Department.
Additionally, Peer Health Exchange launched programming in Ypsilanti, Michigan during the 2020-2021 academic year. We are partnering with the Health Promotion and Human Performance Department at Eastern Michigan University to oversee and manage local partnerships.
