Jamie Roach Murray, M.D., MPH, Chair

Jamie Murray, MD, MPH, currently serves as a board member for Peer Health Exchange, Teach for America Connecticut and her local YMCA. She is an active contributor to community health initiatives and a frequent panelist and speaker, on topics including child health, adolescent risk reduction, and mental health, for schools and nonprofit agencies in her region. Jamie has a BA in Religion from Princeton University. She earned her medical degree from The University of Connecticut and completed her post-doctoral training at Emory University in Atlanta. She practiced clinical medicine for seven years while increasing her involvement in community health work. In 2017, Jamie was awarded a Masters of Public Health from Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health in Health Policy and Management. She continues to apply her expertise in child health and public health through consultative services to schools, nonprofits and families.
