partnerships at PHE

We work to advance health equity by partnering with local school districts, community based coalitions, corporate partners, and philanthropic foundations to serve predominantly Black, Latinx and LGBTQ+ students. PHE works in concert with college and university aged individuals to provide near peer support, implementation and to maximize our impact in historically marginalized communities.

our community partnerships

PHE’s Community Partnerships Team works with young people and community partners to support community health advocacy, deliver health education to under resources high schools across the country, and co-design community health events.

partnership projects

Brightline

Brightline, the leading virtual behavioral health solution designed specifically to support children, teenagers, and their families, partners with Peer Health Exchange to tailor Brightline's broad spectrum of services and resources directly to teens to ensure that more young people get the tools, coaching, and clinical care they need to support their mental health wellbeing.

Headspace

Headspace Health, a global leader in mental health and wellbeing, partners with Peer Health Exchange on Headspace’s Headspace For Teens social impact initiative. Through this initiative, Headspace aims to provide a platform to help teens be kind to their minds. The program focuses on three key areas; acceptance, access and action.

Room to Breathe

Peer Health Exchange began our partnership with the Room to Breathe Project in 2016. Their organization, like ours, is committed to improving mental health and the social and emotional well-being of youth. They provide support for organizations delivering social emotional well-being programs for youth in schools and with social emotional well-being programs for adults who support young people.

LA County

One of our longest partnership high schools in Los Angeles recently collaborated with Peer Health Exchange to create a youth led health advocacy contest. The school has a health clinic on campus that was extremely underutilized. Many students didn’t even know the clinic existed. Students receiving Peer Health Exchange curriculum used what they learned about accessing resources to create an informational brochure to promote their campus health clinic to their peers. This was an opportunity for young people to share resources directly with their classmates on the different services available to them at the clinic.
