Peer Health Exchange Commemorates Mental Health Awareness Month
At Peer Health Exchange, we champion mental health awareness and wellbeing year round. This month especially, Mental Health Awareness Month, we encourage our followers, donors, and partners to replenish their emotional toolkit, as well as the wellbeing of the people they care about.
20%
of youth seriously considered suicide in the last year
25%
of teenagers constantly feel sad or hopeless
64%
of students report feeling extremely lonely recently
Peer Health Exchange is on a mission to change that.
A supportive and reflective space where youth can explore their emotions, experiences, and personal growth through writing. Participants will engage in collaborative creativity, guided self-reflection, and expressive writing practices that promote mental health awareness, self-compassion, and community connection.
In a TikTok, show how you care for your mental health. What is your self-care practice? How do you destress?
